Learn how public libraries are using AI, ways to support community members with this new technology, and the most prevalent issues and concerns—and how to navigate them.

AI Workshop Series Pilot (Spring 2025)

In addition to our participation in the AI Town Hall event, we began working with WebJunction in early 2025 to design an AI workshop course for their online learning platform.  This is a hybrid course combining pre-recorded videos, homework assignments, in-person discussions, and an online discussion forum.  The primary course topics include:

  • AI Fundamentals For Library Workers In 2025
  • "Training" Modern AI: Data & Dilemmas
  • Practical AI For Public Libraries: Hands-On Demonstrations

We're excited to work with WebJunction to deliver the next iteration of our "Libraries and AI" training efforts.
